Anysphere, maker of the AI coding tool Cursor, has raised $900M at a $9.9B valuation. Led by Thrive Capital, the round marks its third funding in under a year. Cursor’s ARR now tops $500M, doubling every two months. With new enterprise plans, the company’s revenue model is shifting beyond individual users. Anysphere recently declined acquisition offers, including from OpenAI.

Mistral Unveils AI Coding Assistant to Rival Copilot

French AI startup Mistral has launched Mistral Code, an AI-powered coding assistant built on the open-source Continue project.
